Team 6: make one daily baking craft (bread or cake)

Team 7: set up table (⁠⁠placing water/jugs and cutlery/crockery on tables before meals), set up food labels of the day, clean tables (after meal), clean kitchen post-meal preparation (while or after cooking)

Team 8: dish washing team (put in the machine + handwashing (larger items), put clean dishes back

Team 9: daily communal tea or coffee makers, prepare afternoon snacks

Team 10: cleaning bathrooms, swiping communal floors, keep an eye on cleanliness in communal spaces

Team 11: retreat & workshop helpers (right-hand for Dr Winkel: making sure classroom is prepared, digital recording of the classes, take picture where needed, prepare a glass of water for workshop leader)

Team 12: porters (helping with luggage/stuff from/to the lodge and also within lodge )

Team 13: post-meal food management & food storage work

Participant Waiver *

(The Retreat) is at high altitude and there are risks involved. For example, cable cars only run during certain hours, and some medical facilities may not be within immediate reach, and sometimes accidents can happen. You are responsible for your travel, stay and personal well-being in Switzerland. This includes buying health and travel insurance, following Swiss regulations (passport, visa if necessary, etc.) and laws. The conveners are responsible for returning the building and site to its previous condition, and so we ask you to please tread lightly and carefully (including limiting hot water usage, taking care of inventory, etc). The Retreat is an opportunity for each of us to work conscientiously in community. By ticking this box [yes], it is to confirm that I, as a participant, agree to hold the Retreat, its conveners, Dr Eric Winkel and Dr Lee-Shan Tse, The Futuhat Foundation and N-Sphere, Ltd. harmless from any and all claims, loss or damage to my personal property, liabilities and costs, including attorney’s fees, as a result of my participation in the Swiss Alps Retreat (2026), including travel to and from the Retreat (including air travel) or any events incidental to this Activity. Paid fees are non-refundable. I have read the Waiver, and I agree to the terms set out.
